We are a small family kennel located in Hillsborough, North Carolina - with an extension growing in Charlotte, NC where our daughter and son-in-law are growing the family venture. Our Golden Retrievers are raised on our wooded 10 acres, where they have lots of areas to explore. All puppies are hand raised in our home, from the moment they are born until the moment they go to their furever families. In short, our Goldens are an integral and essential part of our family!

We began breeding our Golden Retrievers over 40 years ago while we lived in California, after years in the Army. Our first Golden was named Judd. There was no getting around the loving and caring nature that Goldens have. At Golden Acres NC, our focus is on temperament and health, with a particular passion for raising family puppies. We believe that a Golden Retriever can and should live a long, healthy life and it is our goal to produce puppies who do just that.
