How to start the process:

Use the Join the Waitlist button to share your contact information with us. Once we have “pups on the ground” from a litter, we will begin to reach out to the waitlist names in the order that their information was received. Potential puppy parents will be sent our custom application so we can learn a little more about you and your family! We will review your answers (please note, this process may take a couple weeks depending on how busy we are at time of submission) and once we have approved your application, a $500 non-refundable deposit must be paid, we allow 72 hours for the deposit to be submitted once an application is approved. Submitting the puppy application form does not reserve a puppy. A puppy application will be sent to you as a Google Application via email.

All deposits are a part of the puppy purchase price. In 2024/2025, our puppies are $2,100. After the full deposit is submitted, we will keep you posted on what they are learning, share photos and a few videos so that you can watch them grow!

Choosing your new family member:

Once the puppies are the appropriate age for visitors (generally 6 weeks of age), we will email you a date and time for a private “meet and greet” with the puppies. We will always assist in helping you choose your puppy as we are with them all day, every day and know specific personalities and traits of each puppy. We honor the picking order as deposits are received so you may have to wait for confirmation on which puppy will be yours. If you are unable to come select your puppy yourself, we will be happy to FaceTime with you and help select one for you based on lifestyle and preferences. All puppies are marked with their own collar, each one a different color, to easily identify your puppy. Puppies will go home after 8 weeks of age - if you are unable to bring your puppy home at this time, please let us know. Regardless of the going home date, your puppy must be paid for, in full, by 6 weeks of age.

Our policy:

Once puppies have been born, we will accept no visitors until they have received their first vaccinations and have been checked by our vet. We love to meet with clients and show off our dogs but raising puppies and taking care of our adult dogs is a busy job!

Deposits:

All deposits are $500 and are non-refundable but transferable to another litter with advance notice (prior to puppies reaching 5 weeks of age). We will hold your reservation for three (3) days to get your deposit to us. Picking order is based on deposit order. We accept cash, checks, or Zelle for deposits and payments - Paypal or Venmo are not accepted for deposit or balance at pickup. All checks must be made payable to Lorraine Grumieaux. The balance of your puppy is due at 6 weeks of age, no puppy shall leave our care until paid in full. Thank you for understanding!

Pricing:

In 2024/2025, our puppies are $2,100.

*All puppies come with AKC Limited Registration. Full registration is only approved at Golden Acres’ breeders discretion and can be denied for any reason. 

*We reserve the right to refund your deposit at anytime should we feel our puppy is not the best fit for your family.
